~THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE~

Pondering the validity of the information that is exchanged among humans and discovering the pertinent knowledge that has, is and will continue to go by unnoticed. Found and natural objects, optical illusions and the 80-year-old text of a children's encyclopedia create the forest in which the scene is set. This short performance serves as a preview for ideas and images to be further explored in Jenn's upcoming solo show, The Book of Knowledge (opening HERE at i^3 on March 28th at 8pm). Her show will be exhibited through April 4rth.

~IN THE THROES OF NATURAL CONSEQUENCE~

It is the Middle Pleistocene Era (250,000 years ago) and Mother Nature, aka ‘Evolution’ has just given birth to the phenomenon of ‘human consciousness’ within the unique, new species of the Homo Sapiens, which sprouted from the Hominid Family. In spite of its sharp survival skills, utility of logic and wondrous specter of intellect, philosophy, religion, science, technology, architecture, math, civilization, trade commodity and art, it cannot seem to surmount its inability to comprehend existence beyond its own human consciousness. As a result, the species begins to regress, devolve.
Will this rare species endure the brutal tests of Mother Nature's 'Survival of the Fittest?'
